Sizing Chart
Choose your karate suit and sparring equipment using measurements rather than age alone. If you are unsure, please ask Sensei Craig at the dojo before ordering.
Karate suits
Measure your full height from the top of your head to the floor, standing barefoot. Do not use your trouser length or inside-leg measurement. Check the size guide for the particular suit, as different models have different cuts.
Shinzou Premium Karate Gi – 8.5oz
The following height guide is for the Shinzou suit only.

Shin pads and shin & instep guards
Measure from the bottom of the knee to the top of the ankle. These guides apply to the normal elasticated club-training pads shown below.

Shin-only pads and shin & instep guards are different products. Check the pack contents or product description before choosing. This chart does not apply to WUKF equipment.
Headguards
Measure around the widest part of the head, just above the ears, using a soft tape measure. Use the size guide for the exact headguard you are buying; size labels can vary between models. The clear face-shield headguard has a size-guide image on its product page.
A headguard should feel secure and comfortable. If you are unsure which size to choose, ask Sensei Craig before ordering.
Hand mitts and sparring packs
Choose from the sizes shown on the product page. For packs, select each item's size separately where the options are provided: a student's mitt, shin-pad and headguard sizes may differ. Please ask at the dojo if you need help choosing hand mitts.
